Interesting approach to a social study.

Today a friend of mine shared this link.
It is an article that tackles the subject of females' problems in working environment with a brand new approach, using the transgender people
The author of the article has a point. The only variable there is gender, while merit stays same.
I was not surprised to read that there was a significant difference in attitudes of environment towards transgender person, prior and after sex change. After all, I was and still am, fighting to be accepted by merit, not gender. I just hope that this and similar studies result in convincing public that genitalia and hairiness are connected with Y chromosome, but IQ, talents or any other kind of merit are not.
